Woohoo! Exactly a year ago, on May 1st 2024, Timo's Castle was officially released on itch.io!

What a ride. Happiness, nice memories and a little bit of pride fill our hearts today.

Thanks to all of you who played our little game and the great feedback we received from media and happy customers during this year.

For all of you who want give the game another go, I share with you a little secret/easter egg within Timo's Castle:

When you manage to reach the Highscore table then enter the name "SMOKEY" and press enter. You should notice a short white flash in the border. When you now play the game again and reach the transition screen from one level to the other then you will find a sleeping cat now making itself comfortable on the furniture. 

Smokey is a neighbourhood tomcat who regularly happened to walk into our flat - we are living ground floor- while I was working on the game. He walks in , sits down next to you, cleans himself and makes himself a home. After an hour ot two, after he had enough, he will leave again (and probably go to the next neighbour's flat). What a lovely cat. So I made him a cameo appearance.
